Purchase of Dessau-based Systemmöbel GmbH

Goldbach Kirchner, an owner-managed company now in its third generation, acquires the factory premises of System Möbel Dessau GmbH in the Bauhaus city of Dessau. This expands the company’s production space by 15,000 sqm.

Construction of new shipping and production building

Company expansion featuring a new shipping and production building, plus the first glass bonding machine for producing partition walls with structural glazing.

Merger with Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH

In 2006, the companies finally merged: the result was today’s Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH. Based in Geiselbach, the company focuses on the design and manufacture of high-quality storage and partition wall systems, and luxury interior fit-out work. A large showroom with a view of the production facilities underlines the capabilities of the company.

Kirchner becomes new owner

The Kirchner industrial joinery company becomes the owner of Goldbach RaumConcept GmbH, moving design and manufacturing operations to its Geiselbach site, around 20 km north of Aschaffenburg.

The partnership between Kirchner Schreinerei Innenausbau GmbH and Goldbach RaumConcept GmbH made synergies possible throughout a many parts of the company.

Goldbach GmbH

The company was renamed Goldbach GmbH in 1973 and its interior fit-out unit was formed as a separate company two decades later.

Goldbach RaumConcept GmbH now concentrates on storage/partition wall systems and office furniture.

Production of storage and partition walls

In 1967, the factory began making storage and partition walls, with IT furniture being added in the same year.

Formation of Goldbach

The origins of the company go back to the year 1922, and the chiller cabinets and wooden aircraft propellers manufactured by the Goldbach chipboard and stavewood factory in Goldbach, Aschaffenburg.

Formation of Kirchner joiners

The Kirchner joinery firm was formed in the same year. One of the products designed and manufactured by founder Jakob Kirchner in Geiselbach was the well-known (and patented) ‘Ruck-zuck’ pulldown attic stairs.
