sevDesk's new corporate headquarters sets standards for a hybrid working world. The focus is on making work more flexible, supported by the latest technologies for teamwork, personal exchange and individual productivity. The concept is based on the three principles of New Work: freedom, independence, participation. These values are reflected in the design, which integrates current findings from the environment, architecture and energy. With great attention to detail, the sevDesk think tank brings the "sevIdentity" to impressive effect both inside and out.
Architecture & Sustainability
The building was designed by the architectural firm Müller & Partner and built by the client Hurrle Immobilien. "We are proud to have supported sevDesk in the construction of the new headquarters. The collaboration was inspiring and successful right from the start," says Thomas Ganter, partner of the Hurrle Immobilien Group.
The hybrid construction made of wood and concrete impresses with sustainable solutions: 60% of the roof area is equipped with photovoltaic systems (KfW 40EE), while parts of the facade were designed as self-watering, planted areas. The interior design also follows an ecological approach with durable, regional materials.
Working environments & interior design
The first impression: a spacious, light-flooded atrium with a seating staircase that serves as a meeting place and place for shared success. Here, the sense of community is strengthened, while the upper floors offer space for concentrated work - whether alone or in a team.
The work areas are divided into open workspaces and quiet focus zones. Flexible desks and a variety of seating options promote creativity and productivity. The social zones such as the communal kitchen, the gaming corner with bar and the bistro create an open and inviting atmosphere.
Design highlights
The interior was finished with the Goldbach Kirchner T50 partition system with single-pane glazing, all-glass sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling wooden doors with a fixed top panel. The round panes in the meeting rooms and the individual color concept are particularly eye-catching: each of the four floors is designed in its own color world. The wall and floor design as well as the colored powder-coated partition profiles ensure a harmonious overall picture.
sevDesk's new headquarters combines sustainability, innovation and community. It offers ideal conditions for hybrid working and at the same time strengthens the corporate culture - a model for modern working.
