Building project report

Old fishing port, Cuxhaven

Maritime charm in listed fish halls

In the old fishing port of Cuxhaven, traditional maritime trades are being renovated and rethought. On seven hectares, space is being created for gastronomy and manufactories, adventure offers, retailers, hoteliers and office tenants. One of the tenants is "Mietrad Cuxhaven", the provider of a large rental bike fleet and guided bike tours.

The installation of the T50 Loft partition wall system supports the maritime charm of the listed fish halls in retro style.

The non-load-bearing inner partition wall with single-pane glazing is connected to the building structure with aluminum U-profiles. Rooms can thus be partitioned off lightly and almost weightlessly. Load-bearing elements are reduced to a minimum, the glass surfaces allow the existing room architecture to take effect.
