An open-space office alternative

Equipped to meet the very highest sound insulation and ergonomic standards

The aim of the new building in Deggenau was to provide an open and modern working environment for around 150 employees. An open-space office was not considered, however, since most members of staff work in engineering and require an office layout that ensures they can stay concentrated on their work.

The team and group offices were equipped to meet the very highest sound insulation and ergonomic standards. A spacious and communicative work environment was created by using slim glass partition walls instead of masonry walls. GK carcass cabinets, engineered as partitions, stand back-to-back. Sandwiched between is an insulation layer, to achieve sound absorption of 43 dB.

Secluded spaces were created, e.g. in the form of the red alcove seating areas. Each building storey also offers various conference rooms for team meetings, plus kitchenettes. Entrance and reception with desk, multiple conference rooms, foyer and glass partition walls.

The open-plan office alternative: no masonry walls but with first-class sound insulation and an open office layout. Complementing the first-class sound insulation, office fixtures and fittings also meet the highest ergonomic standards. High-quality, long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing.
