Large glass areas in the façade plus glass partition walls give the building the required air of transparency
The seven-storey edifice, with approx. 20,000 square metres of usable space, was designed by the architecture firm Planquadrat in Darmstadt. Large glass areas in the façade plus glass partition walls in the various office units give the building the required air of transparency Bathed in light, the lobby contains bright, comfortable waiting areas, extends over four floors and is appealing in its spaciousness. Kitchen islands, arranged centrally in the space and usable from both sides, confer an individual, modern character on the communication areas. Multi-use and central zones gain the benefit of natural lighting thanks to partition systems featuring structural glazing.
The various office units feature open communication zones as well as plenty of light and transparency for the office space. The 100 mm tube-framed doors with structural glazing that overlaps the leaves are flush-mounted to the glass partition walls.
With furniture designed especially for the property – such as the lobby counter that is almost 12 metres long – unique pieces have been created that give the building its distinctive identity.
