Innovative Interior Design for envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG

As part of the project for envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG in Chemnitz, a pioneering interior design was realized that sets standards both aesthetically and functionally. Of particular note are the glass partition wall systems used, such as the T46 system with F30 fall-protection glazing, which impresses with its high level of innovation and sustainability. The glass partition walls enable an open and transparent interior design while simultaneously meeting sound insulation and fire resistance requirements. Glass not only promotes optimal light distribution but also creates a sense of spaciousness and transparency in the office structures.

Double- and triple-pane glazing with EI30 fire protection requirement

Another highlight of the project is the T35 partition wall system, which was integrated into the offices with 100 mm aluminum frame doors. These doors were implemented in various versions, some with a top panel and some with T10 walls. The aluminum tubular frame doors with integrated switch panels enable precise control of office functions, thus increasing utilization efficiency. In addition, T35 systems with all-glass soundproof sliding doors were used in the meeting rooms. This in-house development by Goldbach Kirchner achieves sound insulation class 2 at 37 dB when installed, meeting the acoustic requirements and ensuring a quiet and focused working environment.

Focus on durable and recyclable components

The entire project was planned and implemented by bhss architects from Leipzig, who impressed with their detailed planning and innovative approach. Particular attention was paid to sustainability and flexibility to enable long-term adaptations. The materials used consist of recyclable and durable components, thus contributing to ecological responsibility.

The client, envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG, benefited from the high flexibility of the room design, an optimized layout, and a sustainable construction method. The project represents an outstanding example of the successful combination of design, functionality and environmental awareness in modern interior design.
