District Administrator Dr. Alexander Legler visits Geiselbach

Dr. Alexander Legler, District Administrator of the Aschaffenburg district, visits Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH in Geiselbach.

The new district administrator of the Aschaffenburg district, Dr. Alexander Legler and Marianne Kronen, mayor of Geiselbach, visited Goldbach Kirchner raumconcepte GmbH.
The occasion was an exchange of information regarding public transport from Aschaffenburg to Geiselbach. A point that keeps preventing employees and especially trainees from being hired.
Bernd Kirchner then accompanied the visitors through the exhibition with glass partition wall systems, individual interior fittings and the structural elements. Then the tour led through the wood production, aluminum construction and dispatch hall. Dr. Legler of the multi-party residential building that is currently being built and the modern heating system.
Bernd Kirchner has been heating the entire company with wood waste from production for 20 years. In summer, however, there was always a surplus of material which had to be disposed of in a container every week. In future, these surpluses will be collected in the new silo and burned in winter. The new heating system is the latest in technology from Switzerland, equipped with an electrostatic precipitator and an exhaust gas cleaning system. The plant is operated exclusively with renewable raw materials and heats the surrounding commercial and private properties as well as the neighboring company Völker. Fossil fuels are not used.
The increased use of electric vehicles shows that environmental protection and the reduction of CO2 emissions are important issues in the company. The management already drives electrically, the vehicles of the employees are gradually being converted. The electricity for this comes from our own photovoltaic system on the roofs of the production halls.
Dr. Legler was enthusiastic about what Bernd Kirchner has done for Geiselbach and the region. He said goodbye with the words: "Chapeau! I take my hat off to this achievement."
