Goldbach Kirchner operates one of the most modern ‘Industry 4.0’ plants in the furniture industry

One production control system, 12 new machines, 1500 sqm of space: at Goldbach Kirchner in Dessau, this has created a fully networked, highly flexible facility for property fitters, starting at lot sizes of one.

At its existing plant in Geiselbach, Goldbach Kirchner has to date been very successful in manufacturing high-quality partition walls, standard furniture and interior furnishings for banks, businesses, schools, public facilities, restaurants and stores – but typically in larger lots. However, due to developments in the construction industry and increasingly demanding requirements from planners, Kirchner and his team realised that the future is in flexibility.

So what does this mean? An empty factory building and high-tech machinery from HOMAG.

In Dessau, this has enabled high-volume furniture production to the very latest technological standards – networked with the ultramodern ControllerMES production control system.
